The Top 25 Festival Fans of Electric Zoo: Evolved
No doubt about it, there’s hundreds of reasons why people go to festivals. From a never-ending list of diverse music that emphatically blasts through the space time continuum, to the delicious festival eats that your once tiny stomach just can’t get enough of, festivals are the embodiment of the now-famous millennial catchphrase, “live your best life.”
This year, Electric Zoo: Evolved saw acts like KREAM solidify themselves as mainstay attractions in the United States, and featured pulse-pounding, show-stopping performances from Zedd, Eric Prydz, and Armada Music’s Armin van Buuren. The long-running EDM festival also hosted over 107,000 raging fans throughout three gorgeous days on Randall’s Island. With so many unique personalities tightly squeezed together on one tiny island on the east coast, the human brain tends to get overstimulated with the familiar, accelerated quickness of a New York minute.
Music and food aren’t the only reasons why we go to festivals. We go because you guys truly make the overall experience a memorable one for the books. Music & Mojitos had the pleasure of making new friends and PLUR buddies throughout the duration of E-Zoo this year.
The loud clothes, positive vibes, and endearing smiles are an integral part of what makes the festival so much fun. Sit back, relax, and relive the glorious cast of colorful characters of New York City’s favorite electronic music festival.
And if you don’t see your picture here, don’t fret—go like the Music & Mojitos Facebook page to see our extended album of fan favorites!
The Selfie Couple
The couple that selfies at the main stage together, stays together. Facts.
The Besties On The Same Page
It’s a sign of real, true friendship when you can strike the same pose without taking a single glance at each other. If we could all be so lucky to know someone like that!
The Real-life Power Rangers
It’s morphin’ time! Not all heroes wear capes, but they all know how to rave with the best of them.
The Companions With Sunglasses (And Body Jewels)
The only thing cooler than big sunglasses are big sunglasses surrounded by body jewels. These girls know what’s up!
The Best. Trio. Ever.
This is what squad dreams are made of. Who cares about a tripod having three legs—Electric Zoo: Evolved had a team of three friends who were ready for anything.
The Quirky Raver
Some people know exactly what to do when its time to get their picture taken. This raver turned up the cute factor to such an extreme, that it would make Zooey Deschanel jealous. Hey, there’s nothing wrong with being quirky, Zooey! (Music & Mojitos loves She & Him.)
The Person Who Held Up This Sign
Huggers are needed more now than ever. Joseph, if you’re reading this…extend your loving arms out and get ready for that sweet, warm embrace.
The Party Rockers In The House
LMFAO would be lucky to have these guys in their next video. They owned it at E-Zoo!
You know you’re a pro when you can go hard while holding on to your hat. Respect.
The Canadian Drinker
Speaking of holding hats, this guy just gets “it.” Besides Canadian beer, is anyone else in the mood for maple syrup? It’s not just us, right?
The Peace Loving Duo
We can feel the unity from all the way over here. These guys are PLUR champions of the universe!
The Friends That Like Their Personal Space
Sometimes you just need a little breathing room at a majorly crowded festival, ya know? These girls have the right idea.
The Tongues Out Team
Every festival needs a little tongue action. That’s all we’re gonna say here. We’ll leave the rest to your imagination. Get your mind out of the gutter.
The More The Merrier Crew
Forget about having a tag team partner—sometimes you need a whole army to hold it down. Jim Croce sang about “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown," but he wouldn’t have a chance against this crew.
The Mac Miller Tribute Act
Mac Miller might be gone, but he’s not forgotten. This thoughtful fan kept his daring spirit alive at E-Zoo. Rest in power, Mac. We raise a mojito to our friend wearing this jersey in the late rapper’s honor.
The Push It To The Limit Couple
All are welcome at E-Zoo. These two fit right in with a crowd that proudly embraces taking a walk on the wild side.
The Straight Up Bass Boss
This bass babe is in control and she knows it. The confidence in her pose slaps you harder than actual bass music. It’s so unreal that it’s real.
The Cowabunga Clique
You are seeing ravers in a half shell. Scream turtle power because this group is doing Splinter so proud.
The Aliens With A Whole Lot Of Heart
Don’t be afraid. These aliens know how to speak our language by flashing the symbol of the heart. That hits deep, man. You can party with us any day of the week.
The Best View In The House Girl
When you paid to see Afrojack in all of his glory, you gotta do what you gotta do to secure that view of his sick set. This raver knows how to get a heads up on her competition with absolute grace and glory.
The Pikachu Raver
A special shoutout goes out to the Pikachu raver. This guy was an absolute legend throughout the entire three days at Electric Zoo: Evolved. Music & Mojitos pika-chooses you, as one of our favorite ravers! If he looks familiar, you’re right: he was seen earlier in the countdown as the headbanger!
The Caught In The Middle Of A Sea Of Hands Guy
Sometimes you don’t have to throw your hands up in the air to make a powerful statement. This raver is proof of that. You can tell he is having a blast at E-Zoo, and truly living in the moment. Soak it in, man!
The Glitter Squad
These ravers in the crowd were going hard in the glitter. Glitter is dangerous, because once you apply it, it stays with you for a long, long time. For that, these two were instantly classic.
The Welcoming Party Girls
These two were super sweet and friendly to everyone around them. They also had a serious case of style and stood out in a sea of ravers.
The Rep The Flag Gang
Festivals are about embracing who you are, and this group of ravers did just that with their beautiful assortment of flags. Way to represent, guys!
