Elliot Jones is Making us Feel All of the "Emotions" in a New Summer Anthem
Sometimes you listen to a new song and you know right off the bat that the singer is going to achieve greatness. Today, a star is born as Elliot Jones just dropped “Emotions.”
Music & Mojitos can already hear the summery track being played across every party bar in the country. There’s no doubt that “Emotions” will find its way on your lineup of favorite songs. Listeners can pick up a little bit of Shawn Mendes, Michael Bublé, and even a young Justin Timberlake in Jones’ smooth vocals.
You can’t help but fall in love with “Emotions.” It’s a charming anthem that will make you want to down that shot of Fireball and summon the courage to talk to the cutie who keeps eyeing you from across the bar. “Emotions” will test your dance game, as it’s nearly impossible to stand still while listening to Jones’ effortless charisma ooze through the speakers. It’s the type of song that plays while you attempt to high five your bestie, screaming “This is absolutely best night of my freaking life, and I’m so not drunk right now.” You know it’s true—don’t even try to deny it.
Jones has a brilliant team behind him for his latest release. During a two week writing trip out in Los Angeles, the jammin’ production of “Emotions” was done by Red Bull Records’ Mike Hart. In addition, they co-wrote our new favorite song with Warner/Chappel’s Michelle Buzz. You might as well call this super team The Three Musketeers because they absolutely kill it on “Emotions.” The old regime of the music industry has been put on notice because Jones has come to play.
The Toronto-born, pop singer-songwriter previously released “Let You In” and “Hard 2 Reach.” If “Emotions” just marks the beginning for Jones, we are beyond ready for a glorious road filled with music that will be blasting on repeat for decades to come. Let’s all raise our mojitos in the air, and toast to the arrival of Elliot Jones.
If you’re feeling all of the “Emotions” after listening to Elliot Jones—you’re not alone. Music & Mojitos also thinks you’ll groove to Chlo Subia and Ariana and the Rose this summer.
