DiRTY RADiO Brings You Diverse Range of 'Pleasures' on New Album

Good things come to those who wait. DiRTY RADiO just released their third studio-length album, Pleasures. It’s been seven long years since their last effort, Cassette. Fans of Farshad "Shadi" Edalat and Zachary "Waspy" Forbes are more than ready to dive in and indulge in their deepest and darkest musical pleasures.

A lot has happened since 2012, and Music & Mojitos thinks that the duo made the right call to head to the studio and focus on their next creative chapter. The dance scene continues to change at a rapid, nonstop pace, and it takes methodical strategy and a whole lot of talent to stand out from the rest of the pack. DiRTY RADiO has all of that.

Shadi and Waspy aren’t strangers when it comes to mixing things up, and offering something completely different. Shadi is a true student of the game, and studied jazz when he was younger. Talk about having serious credentials. Waspy is no slouch, either. On the other end of the spectrum, he kicked it on the drum set in various punk and metal bands. Far out, dudes. It’s those extreme and unique differences that make Shadi and Waspy’s friendship work not only on paper, but in the studio as well.

Pleasures has a little something for everyone. If you’re looking for future-house, DiRTY RADiO’s hooking you up. Garage? They’ve got some of that, too. Don’t forget about the duo’s signature electro-infused R&B style either. Just because the boys evolved and changed with the times doesn’t mean that they forgot their roots, and what originally put them on the map.

Tracks like “My Feelings,” “Pleasures,” and “Is It Enough” got people talking about DiRTY RADiO again. It was a perfect reintroduction to the guys that helped establish the dance community to mainstream audiences on the Internet. “Extraordinary” is a personal favorite of Music & Mojitos. We think the song will get you grooving at any hour of the day. It’s far from an ordinary dance track. It’s one of those songs that make you feel happy to be alive. “Backseat Lover” is another standout. Featuring Dom Corleone, the track will make you catch all of the feels. Don’t try to fight it.

With the reemergence of DiRTY RADiO, Music & Mojitos wouldn’t be surprised to see Shadi and Waspy on the New York festival circuit in the upcoming years. From Governors Ball to Electric Zoo, we think that the guys would bring the fire to whatever party they see fit.

Looking for more new dance music? We got you covered. Music & Mojitos thinks that you’ll dig hot tracks from Sensu, Tchami, and Adventure Club.
