Make Friends on Wednesday by Seeing The Mowgli's at Brooklyn Steel
This Wednesday evening, The Mowgli’s are set to perform at the ultra hip Brooklyn Steel. Taking part in their ‘Making Friends Tour’ with co-headliners Jukebox the Ghost, The Mowgli’s—consisting of Colin Dieden, Katie Earl, Dave Appelbaum, Josh Hogan, Matthew Di Panni, and Andy Warren—recently dropped their buzzworthy EP, American Feelings, available on all streaming platforms.
The Mowgli’s are bringing their sunny California (and charming Midwestern) vibes to a city that needs them more than ever. While New Yorkers are known to be a busy bunch of people who are constantly on the run, we think that you can slow it down just a tiny bit. It won’t kill you to put down the Starbucks latte and make time for an outrageously upbeat band ready to hit it out of McCarren Park when they grace the stage on Wednesday night. We’re also in favor of making friends whenever the opportunity presents itself. What better way to do that than to see a show on Frost Street and experience the incredibly irresistible “Talk About It” in person?
Brooklyn Steel knows how to create an authentic concert going experience. The last time Music & Mojitos attended a show at the venue, we walked away with sweat dripping out of every pore on our bodies; we loved every second of it. Music & Mojitos has the fierce suspicion that lighting will strike twice on Wednesday night.
Encompassing love and light, The Mowgli’s do not shy away from positivity. Even the most cynical show junkie can’t help but smile when they see the band radiate their nonstop energy onto the crowd. Infectious would be understatement—they sealed their exuberance with their hit “San Francisco” in 2013, and The Mowgli’s continue to create warm and fuzzy feelings with new music that’s undeniably captivating.
You can check out the six-person dream team for yourself this Wednesday, March 27. Be sure to purchase tickets to their co-headlining ‘Making Friends Tour’ at Brooklyn Steel HERE. Music & Mojitos will see you there!
